Peter Yozzo — President and CEO

Pete is the founder of ThinkHR and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since the company’s inception in 2004. Pete founded ThinkHR after recognizing that the advantages of outsourcing in the IT industry would also benefit the HR industry and present significant business opportunities. Under his leadership, Pete created the vision for a company dedicated to providing best-in-class HR services, including pioneering the first nationwide, on-demand “HR Hotline” telephone support service. Pete provides exemplary leadership and creativity to our organization and oversees our strategic direction and growth.

Prior to founding ThinkHR, Pete gained extensive experience and industry recognition with companies of all sizes, including Fortune 500 and start-ups. A natural entrepreneur, Pete founded and led several companies, including Mindshare Group, Blaise Software, Inc. and The Capital Group. Pete also worked directly with Channel Point.

Pete, a native New Yorker, and his wife, Laura, have four children and live in Pleasanton, California. Pete spends his free time coaching his children in various sports, surfing down in Santa Cruz, and helping the local high school wrestling team. He earned recognition as a NCAA Division 1 Wrestling champion during his college years at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Dan Riordan — Chief Operating Officer

Dan oversees all day-to-day management functions of ThinkHR, including strategic direction, product development and service delivery.  In this role, he is responsible for driving activities to increase operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and financial results. 

Prior to joining ThinkHR, Dan spent 25 years with technology start-up companies, including Level 5 Networks (now SolarFlare), Optranet (now Extreme Networks), Skystream Networks (Now Tandberg), C-Cube Microsystems and Sierra SemiConductor.  In his various senior management roles, Dan was responsible for developing market share and revenue, resulting in significant company growth and development.   Dan brings years of experience identifying and implementing strategic business improvement and value-generating opportunities. 

Dan is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering.  He also holds a MBS from the University of Phoenix.  In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children.  He coaches many sports, plays golf and enjoys Big Game Fishing.

Laura Kerekes — Senior Vice President

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Laura applies her extensive human resources and general management experience to a broad range of services for our clients, including: strategic HR consulting, interim human resources executive assignments and compliance/OD/training. With over three decades of experience in the field, she brings an intensive understanding of human resources and enthusiastic passion for excellence to every project she undertakes. The depth and breadth of her corporate experience allows her to evaluate clients’ needs and resolve issues quickly, from HR operational projects to C-level organizational design and deployment of people strategy assignments.

Prior to joining ThinkHR, Laura held executive human resource management and corporate communications management positions with AirTouch International, Sygen International and America’s Lemonade Stand, Inc. Her experience includes directing domestic and international human resources strategy and deployment, company-wide staffing and downsizing program management, succession planning/talent management, worldwide human resources policy and program development, employee communications, training and development, employee relations, compensation/benefits and human resources planning in high tech pre-IPO start-ups, services, sales, financial and manufacturing industries.

Laura lives in Marietta, Georgia, with her husband, two teenage sons, two Golden Retrievers and cat. They spend their free time enjoying the Atlanta area and attending their sons’ sporting events. Laura earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, an MBA in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Golden Gate University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, and she completed the Senior Human Resources Management certification program from Stanford University.

Jonathan David Pyle — Vice President of Consulting Services

Jonathan leads the Consulting Services team at ThinkHR. He is actively in engaged with every consulting client and is responsible for the overall management and deployment of consulting and outsourcing service teams. Jonathan’s tenure at ThinkHR includes previous assignments as acting Senior Vice President of HR for a national retail chain, HR Project Leader in Mergers & Acquisitions activity for a local bank, and he created leadership competency models for another national retailer.

Prior to joining ThinkHR, Jonathan’s industry experience includes Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at CyberBills, Inc., Director of Human Resources at Blaze Network Products, Inc. and Regional Human Resources Manager at Target Corporation.

Jonathan is the proud father of two, and lives with his family in Livermore, California. He and his wife are marathoners – their most recent adventure was the Mayor’s Midnight Sun Marathon in Anchorage, Alaska with “Team In Training,” a foundation devoted to raising money to find a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. He and his family also take great pleasure in the tradition of Thursday night dinners at Nonna’s house. Jonathan holds an M.A. in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Joy Justus — Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Joy oversees partner distribution and marketing functions for ThinkHR. She is responsible for developing national marketing and business development strategies with insurance brokers, general agencies and financial service providers who provide a broad range of HR solutions to their clients.

With over 15 years of related industry experience, Joy has held regional and national sales positions with Great-West Healthcare, United Healthcare and EyeMed. Most recently, Joy was a benefits broker with Arthur J. Gallagher & Company, and prior to that was Vice President of Strategic Partnerships with Digital Insurance, Inc. Her business development and sales experience includes extensive knowledge of the Insurance and Human Resources industries, both in start-up/growth organizations, as well as Fortune 500 companies.

Joy, a native of Southern California, resides in Orange County with her husband, 2 young boys and a Golden Retriever. She enjoys the outdoors, international travel and is active in her community. Scuba diving, photography and oil painting are her favorite hobbies. Joy holds a B.A. in Political Science and Mass Media Communication from the University of San Diego and she also earned a certificate in the Healthcare Executive Leadership Program from the University of California, San Diego.

Terra Davidson, PHR— Director of Operations

Terra brings over 10 years of HR experience to ThinkHR and she is responsible for managing all operational aspects of Hotline and Training, including implementation, communication strategies, consultant training & development, quality assurance, technology resources and customer service.  Terra collaborates with channel partners to ensure quality assurance and client satisfaction while maintaining internal workflow processes, staffing needs and product development. 

Prior to ThinkHR, Terra served as HR Manager for Stryker-Brown Distributions and State Roofing Systems. Terra has also provided consulting services to various industries, including healthcare, medical device/biotech, non-profit, venture capital and construction.  She possesses HR expertise with safety programs, workers’ compensation and injury prevention. Terra has earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.

Terra is a single mother with one daughter, who is headed off to the culinary academy.  She enjoys volunteering at church and within her community. Terra prefers to spend her free time doing anything outdoors including snowboarding, camping, and swimming. Previously, Terra studied martial arts, earning a 3rd degree brown belt in judo and jujutsu.
